Introductions

Who to introduce us to

Thanks for thinking of us. We do our best work with companies in one of these situations.

  • A company that needs its software to do more: growth, a raise, an acquisition, or a new way to sell, and the CEO isn’t sure the software can carry it.
  • A company whose product was built by an agency, an offshore team, or a cofounder who has moved on, and the CEO wants a clear answer about what they have.
  • A company whose technical lead just left, or that has outgrown its first engineer but isn’t ready to hire a full-time CTO.

How we usually start

A two-week Technical Second Opinion for a fixed fee, then, if it makes sense, a fractional technical lead a few hours a week.

Making an introduction

A short email to the CEO and engage@stackpad.io is perfect. One line on what’s going on helps. We’ll take it from there and keep you posted.

Stackpad helps companies grow on the software they already have. Its founders are senior engineers who have carried companies through audits, acquisitions, and new ways to sell. They start with a two-week, fixed-fee Technical Second Opinion: a plain-English read on where your software stands and what to do next. They don’t sell rebuilds. stackpad.io

Not sure your software can carry what’s next?

In 30 minutes we’ll ask the questions a good technical lead would ask and tell you plainly what we’d look at first. No pitch deck.
